3rd Annual Museum of Science & Industry Family Night A Success!

Recognized around the world, the MSI Team from Chicago traveled to the Challenger Learning center for an exciting night of family science!  Things created loud bangs and objects blasted off!  Strange substances were made and minds wondered HOW on this special night!

The 2008 area recipients of the Rhodes Foundation Scholarship are recognized by Ann Rhodes, (seated) of The John H. and Ann G. Rhodes Foundation and pack school supplies for needy local children at the Challenger Learning Center Woodstock, IL.

 

 

 

 

New at Challenger

Explorers from NIU's Summer Camp aim high at Challenger!

Spending two days in Woodstock at the Challenger, 48 future scientist, teachers, astronauts and explorers from the Northern Illinois University Summer Camp built rockets, extreme Battle Bot robots and flew a simulated space mission at the Challenger! We are happy to report that 21 of 24 rockets launched at Emricson Park in Woodstock, completed their mission!

2009 Summer Programs

Get ready for COSMIC Summer Camp! Time to plan ahead and  register your Cosmic Camper and explore space, flight, games and the cool side of life!
